Artist statement: "Telluride is an ongoing research that investigates a very specific area in the South of Italy. The Phlegrean Fields. In this area there are more than 24 active craters and 200,000 people living on top of them. In detail, the project look into the possibility of mixing different type lava micro stones with porcelain clay creating a brand new material, the Volcanic Porcelain. During the residency I will have the possibility of experimenting with local materials and crafts developing further the Volcanic Porcelain."
