Isabel Rower (b. 1998) is a Brooklyn, New York based multidisciplinairy designer and artist, working within mediums such as ceramic, wood, and drawing. Rower’s work carries a mystical quality, mutating a world of media excess into one of parallel whimsy and sacredness. In their clay work, teapots carry sacred, liturgical themes, where buds and stems seem to grow from handles and spouts. Rower is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design and has been exhibited at galleries such as Fisher Parrish Gallery, MARTA, and Superhouse.
