Emma Scully Gallery is thrilled to announce its participation in the inaugural New York City edition of Collectible design fair, taking place September 5-8, 2024 at Water Street Projects.

A champion of thought-provoking contemporary and historic design, the gallery will take part in the DIALOGUE section of the fair and will present contemporary works by artists and designers Rafael Prieto, Simone Bodmer-Turner, and EJR Barnes, in conversation with iconic pieces by French designer Philippe Starck. Additionally, the gallery will showcase two rugs created by the late artist, poet, actor, and all-around NYC figure Rene Ricard in collaboration with his longtime friend and textile designer, Madeline Weinrib.

This presentation follows the gallery's recent move into its new space, an inviting residence in the Upper East Side. Open by appointment, the new space displays a revolving selection of works from the gallery's designers, juxtaposed with significant mid-century to 1990s historic and collectible pieces.
